The Security Conference at the University of Washington, more casually known as S/CON, is an annual crisis simulation hosted by the Model United Nations club at the university. Even though it is uncertain whether the conference would be held next year, I went ahead and designed a new brand identity for the hypothetical upcoming conference alongside this poster.

The logo was inspired by the nature of the conference; a "crisis simulation" hence the use of a fighter. In the past, the colors of the conference have been consistently blue and yellow. The yellow signifies an 'amber' color which could translate into 'amber alert' further representing the intensity of a crisis simulation.

For this particular poster, I have experimented with contrasting pairing of text. And also experimented with the positioning of the geometric lines as seen in the poster.
